OST Splitter is a software which is used to split MS Outlook OST file that are large in size. The software truncates the OST file into smaller parts of PST files. Basically the tool also performs conversion process of OST to PST file. A user can split the oversized file by size, folder, date and year. A user can create a single file for each folder in an OST file. It allows a user to split archive OST file. The software can create multiple segments of PST file of same size by reducing the large OST file. If the large OST file is corrupted, then the tool cannot break the file into smaller parts. It is easy to split the large OST file by year. A user can store yearly separated PST files obtained from the OST file. If a user has selected this option and a range of years then he will get a separate year-wise PST file from that range. The software allows a user to select a particular date to break the OST file of Outlook into two parts. In first file, there will be data items ‘of and prior’ to the defined date and another file includes the data items after that date. There will be no affect on the folder structure. The tool creates a new folder to save the files in a customized way. But the CSV file will be saved at the similar location. With the help of this application, a user can truncate large OST file of ANSI as well as UNICODE OST file without any data loss. It keeps the meta items intact.
